The PD Training Time Management Training Course will help you become more productive and more efficient in your role, and includes training in effective time management strategies such as goal setting, effective task prioritization and delegation and applying Pareto's 80/20 rule. Additionally, you'll gain valuable skills in categorizing tasks using a matrix and managing emails. This course equips you with the knowledge to plan strategically, develop lasting techniques to tackle procrastination and much more.
Handling high-pressure, crisis situations will become second nature, and you'll master the art of organization for optimal efficiency and productivity. The course also covers when and how to delegate tasks for maximum productivity. Additionally, you'll gain insightful skills for better managing meetings and ensuring they stay on track.
In this course, you will not only learn the techniques, but also gain hands-on experience in applying them to real-world situations. We want you to get the most out of your time spent in class, therefore, we encourage you to tell the trainer which lessons you would like to get trained in extensively before attending the course - you'll receive an invitation to do this once you've enrolled. The trainer will then customize the training to your needs and cover those topics in more detail to ensure that you not only understand the concepts, but can also confidently apply them in your day-to-day work.

By the end of this training session, participants will be able to:
I really enjoyed this Time Management course and Joe was really engaging and provided so much useful and practical tips to use. I am going to try out the “Power Plays” and will try and focus at least 15-20 mins of uninterrupted time to help train my mind. I also like that we should remember to reward ourselves when we have completed a complex or tedious task
Highly recommend this time management course, very effective. I've learnt some great new tips and tools.
Knowledge is Power, this training gave me the tools to empower and make positive changes by managing and prioritising my work.
I found all of it really useful, and having all the source material to keep with me will definitely help me to action what I learned during the course. The course was enjoyable and Ian did a very good job of keeping us involved in what he was teaching us, and the interactive exercises definitely helped. I liked that there was a system so that everyone had a chance to speak and contribute, and it felt useful to hear how it would help others and not just myself. There are a lot of aspects that I am planning to implement in how I work right away such as organising set times where I check my emails, and being conscious of having 50 minute hours so I am looking after myself while I work. How to break down goals into tasks, and be assertive about my workload and how I interact with people I work with was surprisingly useful to learn about, as I went in thinking about time management in my own personal terms and not realising initially that the people I work with also contribute a great deal to the management of my time and the work I receive.
Most useful: 80% result 20% action; 3Ps-positive, personal and possible; prioritize correctly so that things will not land into urgent/important basis.
This course has been very helpful in my day to day and has given me a lot of coping strategies and ways to manage my workload. Things now feel less overwhelming because I know there are ways to manage.
The course was great. Targeted some common issues the team have with managing their time, particularly around delegation and procrastination. The course helped me change the way I look at my tasks which will hopefully help me tackle them in a more timely efficient way.
Understanding, identifying and defining your long-term goals is the very first step for effective time management. With the broader goal in the background, you can now set a series of short-term goals that will guide you to the longer-term goal.
By applying the skills taught in Time Management Training, you can optimize your efforts to ensure that you concentrate as much of your time and energy as possible on the high payoff tasks. This ensures that you achieve the greatest benefit possible with the limited amount of time available to you. Contrary to popular belief, effective time management is not based on doing more things in less time, but in prioritizing, organizing, focusing efforts and managing more effectively.

When you want a tailored learning experience targeting exactly what you want without bringing everyone physically together, the best choice is a Live Online Class run by PDT.
We tailor the content and activities to be specific to your current needs and the needs of the people and run the course in our usual activity-based workshop style training, however, the participants can all be offsite, or some can be in the room with others offsite.
Unless you have a preferred tools we use 'Zoom for Education' that includes enhanced collaboration features such as One-click content sharing, real-time co-annotation (people can work together in activity files), and digital whiteboarding, we also include things like live polls and group chats so you virtually have the same collaborative learning experience of attending a course in a room with other people.
We have delivered these 100's (if not 1000's) of times, and get great outcomes. We achieve great outcomes because we keep our learner centric approach - just because it’s delivered through a screen to some or all participants doesn’t mean it needs to be less tailored or less personalised.
You still have an expert trainer who talks to you prior to the session and tailors the delivery to use your terminology, ensure activities are relevant and directly applicable and ensures an engaging learning experience that provide people with skills and techniques they can apply the very next day.
A hybrid class is with some people connecting online, and some people physically together in the same room.
We provide the Training Management Centre which is an information hub before, during and after training.
